Jeremy Blaustein

Jeremy has been a gamer since the age of 8, and grew up playing arcades, PC games, Atari, Colecovision, Intellivision, Turbografx, Neo Geo, PlayStation, and just about every game system ever created. He got his professional start in the industry at Jaleco in Chicago in 1990, as an associate producer. In 1993, he joined Konami at their Tokyo HQ. There, he co-ordinated with the international divisions of Konami US and Konami Europe, managing global releases. He also worked closely with R&D, writing original game content, translating text, and directing voice recordings.

In 1996, Jeremy struck out on his own as an entrepreneur, working with companies such as Sony, EA, Konami, Ubisoft, SquareEnix,  and Activision to launch some of gaming’s best known IPs, such as Metal Gear Solid, Dragonquest, Silent Hill, Suikoden, Castlevania, Shadowhearts, Ape Escape, Valkyrie Profile, and many others. He also translated 17 seasons of the Pokemon anime and more than half a dozen of their premier films. Jeremy is widely known and respected for his passionate commitment to quality.

Dragonbaby LLC is a video game localization company founded and led by renowned 25-year veteran Japanese to English game translator Jeremy Blaustein, who is famous for his work on Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and countless other AAA titles. It is dedicated to the highest standards of both quality and creativity in game localization. 

Based in Japan, Dragonbaby is a full-service localization company that offers translation services from English into all major languages, as well as less common Asian-Asian language pairs such as Chinese to Japanese, Japanese to Korean, and the like. In addition, we are well-experienced in voice recording, allowing a seamless flow from translation to recording that offers a tremendous increase in the quality of the product. 

Dragonbaby works tirelessly to seek out the most talented, reliable, and professional linguists all over the world, testing them on a wide-range of skills that are applicable to game localization such as accuracy, creativity, dialog-writing, research thoroughness, and the like.
